We found Lucy running aroung a busy neighborhood area when she was about 4 months old in the middle of winter. We posted signs and talked to tons of people, but nobody knew where she belonged so we kept her for ourselves. She was the cutest thing and she still is. She has the biggest personality and we can't imagine not having her in our life.

I've been so busy lately, I keep forgetting to write in my diary!! I moved to a new house that I really like. It has a huge yard and squirrels are always running around it. It drives me crazy - but I love it!! I also got a new baby brother (human). My mom had a baby boy on March 1. His name is Grayson and he is SO cute. He does cry alot though. But my mom keeps telling me that when he gets older he's gonna run around and play with me all the time. I can't wait. We get to go on alot of walks together now too. And my mom always tells me how I'm such a good girl and that I do a good job taking care of Grayson.

Dear Diary,
Today was such a good day!! Of course I think that almost every day is a good day. I got to wake up late today, which was great because I LOVE sleeping! Hmm, did I get that from my mom or my dad?? Then I played with Bo for most of the morning while everybody was gone. Bo is my best friend and we have so much fun playing together. We just chase each other and wrestle around. Sometimes I start playing a little too rough, but I think he likes it. He's so funny! I will miss him when we move. They better let me go play with him and let him come visit me every once in a while. When everybody got home this morning, I got to go outside for a long time. That was great because I'm currently working on a top-secret, undercover mission that I needed to spend some time on. This mission is called "Operation: Squirrel for Lucy". I know that I can catch one. They're fast, but I am stealth-like. My problem is my darn collar. I start running after one and they run up a tree as soon as they hear the "clank, clank, clankety-clank" of my collar. They must have excellent hearing because I can be very sneaky. So for my mission I have started keeping daily logs of all squirrel activity. I have a tree at the top of the hill that I sit right next to and scan the area and work on my logs. And let me just tell you, those little buggers are active. Running from one tree to the next and across the yard. I don't think they have very large brains though. I see alot of them running in the middle of the street. Then a car comes and they run back and forth like they can't make up their minds about which way to go. We did have a squirrel casualty the other day because it was playing chicken with a car. Once I have all my logs together it will be time to go full-force squirrel catching mode. My only problem then..............what will I do with it when I catch it??
