A New Year is coming

Mom tried to cook today....

My mom will be the first to say she can't cook, but she's trying.
Today she tried making some sort of chicken cheese thing she called chicken parmesan....Oh My!...At first there was so much smoke and i was coughing and kinda laughing/hoping whatever it was would be to burnt for mom and dad but she saved it../sigh. Oh yeah...and with all the smoke there was also this horribly high pitched sound that started going off. Like what the heck was that? It kept on till mom got some windows open and the smoke started going away.
Well at least Dad seemed impressed with what she cooked...though he did look at the cooking pan and Tsk tsk a few times.
Luckily for me, Spaz and Cookie, mom also picked up our special once every so often wet food dinners (there's no way she can ruin those..*snicker*).

Late night

Oh my goodness!!!! I finally found out what those firethings everyone was talking about was. They were so LOUD and hurt my ears. I didn't really like them very much. Mom and dad stayed up soooo late and I was soooo tired but I didn't want to sleep till they did. My lil paws were so grateful to crawl into our bed by mommy and daddy. I was asleep instantly and even didn't want to get up early this morning. Now mommy says we have more company coming later on. I really hope they don't bring over any more of those firethingies.

The last day of the old year

As a dogs life goes , especially for one still so young, I must say this past year has been great. Granted i've only been around since July. My mommy and daddy take great care of me. As does my extended family which includes Grandma, Grandpa and the great-grandma and grandpa...I get spoiled rotten. Even though i have to share my attention with my 2 sisters and my 10 cousins (every part of my family has a multi pet household), that's okay though....there's enough love to go around.
Mommy said i was named very appropriately. I love to CHEW!! Even on things i'm not suppose to. (I"m sorry mom). I've gotten better though!
I'll be sad when the holidays are over......I love'd visiting everyone all the time. Mom and Dad are having a new years eve get together here at the house tonight..so Yeah!! more people to love me, pet me and pay me all sorts of attention. Spaz and Cookie will probably hang out in mom and dad's room until the noise dies down.
Oh and I keep hearing about something called...fireworks??? I can't wait to see what it is.
