We went to the Burlington County Animal Shelter here in NJ, because I wanted a dog for my birthday. No way would I get a dog from any other source than a rescue. Anyway, he was so cute and calm in his cage and had a look in his eye like he could be a good guy, so we asked to see him. He came over to us, sniffed around and sat down. He had us at hello. That was five and a half years ago, and he gets better every day.

Don't really know how old Duce is, but I'm guessing about 10 -- I gave him the same birthday as me, July 23, but who knows....maybe he's not a Leo and is a Capricorn...either way, he's the BEST!
