Her sister, Sydney.

She's afraid of men, vaccuums, birds at the bird feeder, strangers.

Favorite Toy:
Tennis balls. Tug of war rope.

Favorite Food:
Purina Pro Plan

Favorite Walk:
Around the pool with her sisters.

Best Tricks:
She fetches the ball already. She's learned how to catch the ball and shake hands.

Arrival Story:
Bailey and her sister, Sydney came to us on December 11th at 1:30 a.m. They were rescued from a shelter in WV. We found them through "Paws of Tomorrow, Inc." a rescue agency.

Bailey had severe hip dysplasia. She had her left hip replaced on Aug 22, 2009 and her right hip replaced on Jan 22, 2010. Dr. Jon Dyce of Ohio State University came to VA to operate on her with Dr. Andrew Murphie, Sr. ("Doc") at Anderson's Corner Animal Hospital in Toano, VA. She is all healed and RUNS and jumps now. I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care she received. They are my (and Bailey's) heroes.

Hi pups!
Boy, amazing what two hip replacement surgeries can do for a girl! I'm all better now and I feel good! I can run as fast as my sister now. I can jump up in the air and catch a ball now! I am so excited to have my new hips and am so grateful for Dr. Dyce and Dr. Murphie for their excellent medical care. THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH!

Hi Pups,
Good news! I'm free of having to stay in my crate and not run and play now. I had my post op xrays on Tuesday and Doc said I was good to go! He showed mom the xrays and said they look great. So, now I have two good hips and mom keeps saying something about the poor house, whatever that is.
My sister and I can run together again and the really cool thing is, it doesn't hurt me to run now. I can even stand up on my back legs, but mom said "That's nice but don't do that." I'm so happy now I just bark to tell everyone I can run now. Take care everyone.

Gotta run!

I'm Miss December

HI pups,
The lady at Paws of Tomorrow, where my mom got me from made a calendar for this year and I'm Miss December. Mom said the picture they used is her favorite one of me.
I'm now two weeks post op after getting my new right hip. I got my staples out yesterday and I had to show "that man" that I can walk much better now. He was pleased but not pleased enough for me to be allowed out of my crate or let loose to run yet. Mom said I still have 6 more weeks of mostly staying in my crate. I'm a little stire crazy now...
