Our dear sweet Peke is gone

We are so sad to say that mom had to take princess to Doc one last time today & she's on the way to the rainbow bridge. We didn't even have her a full year! Doc said we did give her the best 5 months of her 10 years. Even tho most of the time was in vet offices & on some type of meds. She came to us from the local shelter, found just 3 streets away from our home. Mom found this poor thing just laid there in her cage, doing nothin but sleep for the 8 hrs she was volunteering there. On the 2nd day of seeing this she took the peke outside into the grass & set with her. The dog almost right away started cruisin around so she got a nice long walk . After a few days of that, a bath and infected eyes cleaned up it was decided it was home with us. Wouldn't eat at the shelter, but ate it up at home. Became very active after a week or so of antibiotics for skin, botheyes&both ears having infections, abcessed teeth and bladder&kidney infections. Just got on top of that and she slipped 3 discs in her back that caused her to have temporary paralisis of entire right side. Got that under control with daily dosing of Metacam But the skin got worse, the eyes & ears quit responding to meds, the bladder & kidney problem was worse and today we were told she mainly had a raging staph & strep infection that is antibiotic resistant and a lump on one of her breasts was most likely cancer. She has been doing a lot of whining crying & barking this week & we were sure it was coz she just was so miserable and was ready for that final rest. We will miss you everyday little stinky one. Wish you would have been with us much longer to love( our last peke passed at 19 yrs old) I pray you are running happy & healthy now little love. Until we meet up again-MOM

OMD this was a hard day. I went to the vet and guess what? Im diagnosed with a ton of stuffs. I have an eye infection, ear infection, dry eye, Skin allergies, i have a hernia, and pridontal disease. I really wish i could get better. Well see you later.

Sorry folks

Sorry pups that i havent been on for a while. But im back! Nothing really happened today but mum/grandmum is still in the nursing home, delirious, i hear. Right now mum/grandmum cant eat for her throat is extremely sore and she cant eat or really drink. She can only have ground up food and water. :( I really wish i could go see her.......
But i cant...... Right now theres a pile of stuff on the table that mum says she gonna wrap for the cousins. I have no idea who shes talking about. is it ashley's cousins? Whatever.
Well i really gotta go. Ashley put all this awesome 'new year' stuff up. Its really awesome. bye dogster! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello Everyone!

Hi everyone, i wish everyone a happy new year as 2009 approached silently, slyly. And even as the holidays pass, many other holidays approach, new year, valentines day (my favorite), and then into march. A saying i used to hear around was April Showers, bring May flowers. As a excellent smeller i adore flowers! So i think may would be a pawfect month for me.
Grand mum is still in the nursing home. Shes delirious and doesnt remember anything. The other day Ashley walked in and she had a puzzled look on her face. :( Courtney came in and the same look was on her face. But when she saw me she said, 'thats tulula.' well at least she remembered me. Today Ashley set me in her room and took pictures of me. I smiled and she gave me a paw-five. Soon they will be on here. I just made an awesome group called Canines international. Anyone can join just message me after you do if you want. Thanks for reading, this has been a long one,

Phew what a day!

Bow Wow this was a hard day. But it was fun. Me and Ashley (owner/sis/maybe mom) took pictures and uploaded them to mums computer and are now taking more pics. (Ashley: Princy lets take more pics!) Then we went out back and played w/ dory, jen, mia, mag, and tink. (Ashley: Prin cmon!) I gotta go take more pics. Bye!
