Arrival Story:
I was looking for a campanion dog and wanted another Austrailian Shepard. I had heard about the miniture aussies and thought because of the small yard that they would be what I was looking for. I started looking for a puppy because I know how the Aussies bond with their owner so I wanted to be his first. I couldn't find any pups locally so I asked my daughter to keep an eye out and she lives in Texas so that would enlarge the search. Well she called me and said that she thought she had found what I was looking for, so I told her to checkout the dog and make sure he liked kids, because of the grandkids. Anyway she said she really liked the dog and so did the kids but he was a year old already. She got the phone number for the girl that owned him and after thinking about it for awhile I called her. Well she was looking for a good home for Tucker because she was going back to school and moving into an apartment and didn't think she would have the time to spend with Tucker like he deserved. So after a couple of hours on the phone and a number of emails including pics of Tucker she desided that I could have Tucker. My daughter brought him to me when she come to visit for fathers day, and he was everything I had wanted in a companion. I was still apprehensive about whether he would take to me but as it turns out they were unfounded fears. Tucker and I are unseparable and he is my shadow. Everyone that meets him loves him and the kids in the neighborhood come over to play ball with him which is what he loves. What more can I say, he is my best buddy and is everything I could have ever wanted in a companion and best friend.

Tucker is a miniture aussie with a heart as big as Denver. We live in the Denver area and have recently moved into a new house and community which is very Tucker friendly.

I'm so happy that it is starting to warm up again, I got my coat back so I'm looking like the handsome Aussie that I am. Dad said he would start taking me to the place where I get to play on the toys. I call them toys buy dad says there obstatcles. It's those things I run and jump on when we train for the agility trials. Dad thinks that I'm good enough to start competing, look out I'm going to be king of the world because I'm going to make my daddy proud. I also hope that I get to do the flyball this year, I love to chase the tennis ball but last year there weren't any spots on the team so I had to be an alternate so I didn't get to play so much. Well gotta go it's time to check out the neighborhood and Porters waiting on me, he's my best friend from down the block, were going to the park and play ball. Later guys, till next time dad lets me use the computer.....

Well Dad took me to the barber shop and now I look like a damn red healer. Oh well, I'll have my coat back by winter so for the mean time I am cooler and everyone thinks I look like a puppy again, so I'll live with it.
