Arrival Story:
I was at the local animal shelter with the kitten that I just adopted waiting to pick her up from being spayed.... I decided to take a look at the dogs up for adoption while I waited. There was Max...nothing but skin and bones, and big brown eyes....He cowered down and flinched when I went to pet him. I knew that he had to come home with me!!!! Within a week Maximum was fattening up and was building confidence. He has become a happy, loving dog and fit right in with my other beagle Chuckie Sue. He now holds his head up high....he is definately the king of the castle!!
Bio:
Max is a long legged tri-colored beagle. He is true to his breed...with his nose always to the ground and his tail in the air! He also has that distinctive beagle howl which drives my neighbors crazy....
