Likes:
His red ball and running in the sheep paddock with his human friend Keith. He also LOVES riding in the car with the roof down so he can see all the people and other dogs. He is magnificent.

Pet-Peeves:
Fireworks. His sister when he thinks she might be getting his food or getting too much attention. Charlie is a fabulous boy....very lovable, funny, goofy and well behaved. But he can be reactive with other dogs. A work in progress.

Favorite Toy:
His Red Ball. It's just the best. And rope toys

Favorite Food:
Raw Carrots and Apples (but partial to Carrots)

Favorite Walk:
Walk? Charlie Pete doesnt walk. He runs. Loves to play ball in the fenced paddock

Best Tricks:
He is great at sitting, dropping and staying in his bed when told. He is very clever when he is calm. When he's not....well, different story.

Arrival Story:
So, I had been looking somewhat casually for a dog to join my pack of two other dogs for some months after the loss of my very old German Shepherd. Had been perusing the SPCA, but they just didn't have many dogs to choose from (a blessing that most dogs had a home). Then one morning the nice lady at the pet store, who knew I had been looking, rang me up and said "I have your dog. Better come and get him". So I did. I've never had a male dog and it has been a learning experience, but he now mostly owns the house.

Bio:
Petey-boy is a pup of extremes. He has caused me more grief and stress than any dog I have ever owned. But has also given more back....I adore him. Behind all of his bluster he is a fearful dog and can therefore be aggressive with other dogs. So he has to be watched carefully. But he loves curling up in my lap for a cuddle and he makes me LAUGH! Loudly. No...I mean REALLY LOUDLY. He's terrific ********** Very sadly my boy collapsed on Dec 8th. He has a cardiac haemangiosarcoma that ruptured. He was quickly gone from me. Heartbroken. He was my heart. He changed me.
