Arrival Story:
On Dec 18, 2006, a co-worker found her wondering in the cold Dec weather in Montana. She called work for another girl to see if Viv would keep her over night as Amy's one large dog destroys small animals. So I asked if she would bring her in to me and I would keep her as my Dog Travis, got along with everyone. It was an instant connection . At the time we didn't know how bad she was hurt. I took her home and gave her food water and a bath we sat and watched tv for awhile and when I put her out to 'go' she slipped through the gate and fence. I found her the next day at the local animal shelter and they said she was a mixed chiahuahua. She has the tail of a pug. Well, when I took her to the vet, I found out something had bit her snoot. I noticed when she was sleeping on my lap the night I brought her home, she would breathe and her lips would flap. She had surgery to fix the hole in her snoot and had one tooth pulled the day and the next month had another tooth pullled. Her tongue looks 'wrinkled' on the left side of her face. for the longest time, she could not play ball because we found out her jaw was broken.. since that is healed she have been a wonderful pet and loves her six cats she has to play with now. She and Travis became best pals.. It's now 2 years I have her . The Vet figured her to b a year old when we found her. It seems forever but she makes me laugh and eager to see me each time I come home from work.
