I Loved You Best
So this is where we part, My Friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you've taught.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed,
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this...I loved you best.

*~God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his
arms around you, and whispered ..come to me.. . With tearful eyes we
watched you, and saw you pass away, although we love you dearly, we
couldnt make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at
rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us.. that he only takes the best.~*

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherrish memory as the only certain immortality, never fuly understanding the necessary plan".

Each and every year for almost 10 years now, Brandon thinks that he should pee on our Christmas tree.
His brother Dakota always helps him!
A few years ago, all of our presents were ruined because Brandon and Dakota decided to pee on everything.
For the past three years, we have gotten a little table top tree.
This year, Walmart had such a great sale on 6 ft pre-lit Christmas tree's $31.99 that we could not resist and bought one. My husband and I put it up today. We shall cross our fingers that the dogs don't pee up our tree again this year!!!
Happy Holidays
