Arrival Story:
After my two best friends Raffles and Callie went to the bridge, I had a hole in my heart. I waited awhile but just needed to add to the family to fill that void. Raffles was such a character that I was hoping to find another Boston again. No luck so I decided to find a puppy. I had just put a down payment on a puppy born the end of October (Quigley). Two days later Priscilla came into my life. So we are now a two Boston family. I picked Quigley up a month after Priscilla enriched my life. What a bundle of energy. It's going to be an interesting journey.

Bio:
Quigley came from a breeder in Friendship, Wisconsin.

It's Exhausting Being Me

What a weekend we had. We had relatives over for Mother's Day and they played catch with me and I still didn't get enough.

Mom was sick today so she stayed home from work and Grandma came down and played catch with me 3 times. I was over the moon.

I'm plumb tuckered out right now, but if Mom wants to play I'm there. Looking forward to having Mom home for a 3 day weekend. Big Fun.

I had the best afternoon. Mom took me to my very first playdate. It was a group called "Boston Commons" in Edina.

The excursion didn't start out well. I had my harness on and my jacket and I was so excited. I got into the car and it dawned on me. Mom only takes me to the vet or to have my toe nails trimmed. Oh no, what was I thinking. I had to get out of here. But Mom clever minx that she is, was already pulling out of the garage. Well I hate to admit it and luckily there were no witnesses (except Mom) I cried like a little girl. My tears dried up once I realized we had passed the road that goes to the Vet. Now I was intriqued. Where were we going?

Imagine my delight when we walked into a building that did not smell like a vets office. In fact, the smells were wonderful. We went through a gate and I got my bearings and then mirror images of me started coming through that same gate. Was I hallucinating? Ever the curious one, I had to go and check it out. They were pups that looked a lot like me.

Mom was a little apprehensive at first and kept me on the leash for awhile. Of course as this was my first enounter with these facimilies of myself I had to show them who was boss and did a lot of vocalizing. Mom was sure we were going to get kicked out, but I settled down and had the time of my life for an hour and a half. I must have smelled 13 butts. I seemed to gravitate toward the male species and Mom was little concerned about that choice and I chased a gazillion balls. I met a larger dog named Oreo that could put two balls in his mouth at one time. He tried to teach me but as big as Priscilla says my mouth is, it's not that big.

So I had the most wonderful afternoon. Thanks Mom. It was heaven.

When we got home Mom thought for sure I would nap. Surprise Mom! Here's my ball - lets play catch. You should have seen the look on Mom's face. She couldn't believe I was still raring to go.

Mom said if I'm good we can go again in April. Yay!!!!!

Dogster bestowed "diary of the day" on me today. The best part is that I've made new friends.

Priscilla is afraid I'll get the big head. No worries. I'm just stoked to have my face on the community page. Big fun.

Mom is so proud.
