Arrival Story:
Peppy was a 1986 Christmas present from my husband. She came from a pet store. He asked me to meet him at the pet store and that's where she was placed in my arms. He went to back to work and I brought Peppy home. She stayed in my lap the whole way there which was about 20 miles. We lived in St. Martinville at the time. Peppy bonded to me almost immediately. She crossed Rainbow Bridge on February 19, 2001 while my husband and I were at her side. She had congestive heart failure.

More bio and pictures to come.

Furst let me shout out big thank yous to Banjo, Milton, Zaidie, Whitley and Crystal who sent me wishes in rosettes and/or paw mails. You made my day a little brighter.

Despite me being gone fur so long there is never a time my mom still doesn't think about me and especially on those "magic" dates like my barkday, gotcha day from the pet store (she will never buy another dog, but I'm glad dad bought me fur her), other special times we had together and then that final bridge crossing day which follows with the bridge crossing anniversary dates.

It seems since today marks the tenth year anniversary of 9/11 many peeples are reflecting on what they was doing on that September day. Mom's been thinking about us furs and how it had only been just a little under six months when we'd said our goodbyes then I made my way to the bridge. She was at work when dad called to let her know what was happening cuz there was no TV or radios in her office. All she could think about was getting back home to Sheba & Spike because it was some scary times fur the hoomans. Now, ten years later both Sheba & Spike are up here with me at the bridge waiting on her to join us one day. Why do hoomans get so emotional over these things? Mom says many times she wishes her emotions wouldn't get the best of her. She is doing better, but tells others it's not the same anymore without Sheba & Spike. She says it makes her smile to think of them up here with me and other angel furs. We're all watching over her and especially that little mischievous Jiffy...he's keeping her busy!! She said life goes on down there on the Earth's without us special angel furs because she's learned to cope without us there by her side. We're preparing lots more angel dust fur mom because it will soon be Spike's barkday and his 2nd year anniversary at the bridge. We know how much she misses that rooroo buddy of hers, but have no fear the angel dust is being mixed up with extra magical healing ingredients fur next month. And we're planning a big pawty fur Spike if we can pull him away from his big adventures with Cookie, Ernie George and pals fur a spell.

Ten Years at the Bridge

Wow...mom has been doing lots of reminiscing the past few days about many things. Just the other day Jiffy fell in the pool, but he didn't get hurt. Probably just his pride, but he was back up and running all over the place not long after it happened. Mom told some friends me and Cricket were the only dogs who liked to swim. We are the only ones who ever swam in that pool. Sheba and Spike came along before I went to the bridge so I got to know them very well. Neither one of them was interested in swimming. They walked all around it, but never got in. Because of Jiffy falling in it brought back many memories of all the fun times we had in there. Me, Cricket, mom and skinbro too. Mom says she has to find those video clips from way back then...they're on VHS tapes so hopefully they haven't gone bad. Mom's been going through old papers, doing some early spring cleaning and she already found my AKC papers. She scanned them into the computer, but is saving the original to put in my special box with my collar and other special things.

Ten years I've been here at the bridge. Miracle joined me in 2008, then Sheba and Spike in 2009. We're all frolicking in the meadows of green every day then we watch over our family at night time. We still sprinkle angel dust on our mom, but now we are ever vigilant because of baby Jiffy. He's a very active little fellow and needs lots of special angels watching over him.

Thank You To all Who Remembered My Bridge Crossing Day

To Crystal, Tiffany, Lucy Kitty & Cheyanne who sent special pawmails to me on this bridge crossing day.

To Simba Bush who sent me a heart rosette
To Kelly Ann who sent me a Fleur de Lis cuz she's from South Louisiana too.

My pawrents talk about me often in their conversations, especially lately after Sheba and Spike joined me at the bridge. Mom says her heart is broken; that each one of us took a piece with us when we came to the bring and it will be whole when we greet her on her arrival day. Dog bless everyone fur being so nice to me and my family.
