Arrival Story:
When I got to work on Friday, September 19, 2008 I had 14 emails asking if I had seen the paper or news about the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Conroe, TX putting down 100s of dogs by 5pm that day due to overcrowding from Ike. By 10am. 3 friends and I had decided we had to go help. We stayed until closing and took the last 17 dogs there. Emery was approximately 7 weeks old and had a horrible case of kennel cough. I HAD to take her home ! She didn't have kennel cough but an acute case of bronchial pneumonia that we are still treating. She is thriving and growing like a weed! LOL At 32 pounds she is almost too big to sit in my lap but she still insists!
Bio:
Em is a mommy's baby! She cries for me when I am not with her. She LOVES to sit/lay in my lap. She is SO sweet and loving and playful. She is a kind gentle soul.
