Phew.... BUSY

Mum's been super busy so she didn't have the time to translate my woofs and barks to words that we could share with the humans. But she finally has a chance to sit down to help me share my last few weeks with all of my pup pals. Since the last time mum had written to share with you all my first home experiences, I have gained 4 lbs in 4 weeks and the Vet said last Friday that I was going to grow up to be a fine Heeler. A handful dad says to me when we play. I really don't like going to the Vet, though he's nice, the pointy thing that he has in his hand gives me the willies and I get shore between my shoulders for a couple of days after.

I've been with mom and dad for almost over a month now, and it feels like I've playing with them forever. I get to sleep on the bed with mom while dad plays on the computer and then when dad comes in he pets me till I fall asleep on my doggy bed. Mum gets a bit carried away at time always bringing me home new treats and toys when she goes out shopping. I think she's feeling guilty for leaving me at home. But that ok, cause Dad takes me out for rides in the truck all the time. Like today when we surprised mom by stopping by her office to take her pout to lunch, of course I got to meet mom's friends. They all loved me of course. I can't wait till March when I can finally go out further than the backyard and go for real walks with mom. Mom and Dad have been extra careful not to take me anyway that I can catch bad things from other puppies and dogs. Mom keeps telling me something about how I'll love the beach and this thing called the ocean. I'm curious about it now. Well off I go for now. I see a ducky that I need to have a word with.
