Arrival Story:
We were determined to get a dog one weekend and headed to the shelter. Lola was the fist dog we saw and we immediately fell in love. She had the most adorable face, with little wrinkles over her head and her fun, energetic, loving and loyal personality won us over. We took her for a walk and spent some time with her and the staff who had taken care of her. They told us that if we decided to adopt Lola, that we would need to be pit bull embassadors given the bad rap her breed has unjustly received. We wanted to be the ones to give Lola the well-deserved chance of a good life. To us, she has already proven how misundertood her breed is. We love spending time with her and we all look forward to come home to a tail-wagging happy- to-see-us dog. Even Buster, the misunderstood cat, is growing to love her.
