Arrival Story: The humane society needs everyones support!
They cared for me for almost a year and are instrumental in the fight against breed specific legislation.
When my new family took me home their home owners insurance company canceled their policy because they said I was a "Bad Dog".
How could they say that they didn't even know me!
I thank God they found a new company that wasn't "afraid" of me!

To all my dear friends at the Humane Society! Well it was touch and go there for a while. First I found a home and the next thing you know I was back! It seamed like a bad dream for my new family and me. I thank God that they saw something in me to make them want to do all they could to give me a home. From the bottom of my doggie heart I want to thank all of you. If it wasn’t for the excellent care I received, all the love and attention you gave me and the wonderfully run facility I have called my home for almost a year, my story may never have had this happy ending. My adoption has been bitter sweet; although I longed for a home of my own I know I will always miss all of you. My new owners have promised to bring me by to say “Hi” once in awhile. I am settling in very well. I have a beautiful fenced in back yard to run and play in and when I go inside it’s a lot bigger then my pen was there! The first thing my new owners gave me was a new blanket! I must be behaving pretty well cause everyone keeps saying “Good Boy” and patting me on the head. I was a little excited the first night and none of us got much sleep but last night “I slept like a puppy”. I’ve been going for lots of walks and everyone I meet stops and stares (I guess I’m a pretty handsome guy) and wants to touch me. I love all the attention. I even got to go shopping at Pet Smart and saw and sniffed lots of other dogs. I think I made my new owners proud of how well I behaved in that situation. I feel bad I had to leave all my four legged friend behind also, I will pray they all get good homes. I’m especially worried about all the other dogs there that are the same breed as me. It seams we have a “bad reputation”. I’m going to do all I can to be a good example and help spread the word on how misunderstood we are. Well thanks again, hope to see you all soon. With Love And Lots Of Licks, Jessy
