Arrival Story:
We are Izzy's third family. She is a sweetie! We were told she was a pit mix but we believe she is a beautiful pharaoh! We aren't really sure how old she is but the guess was she was around a year when we got her in June '08.

Bio:
We weren't looking for a dog -- you know how that goes! We had just lost our beloved Min Pin - Chip in March '08 due to his rabies shot in December of '06 which caused AIHA and the prednisone treating that caused Diabetes. Well, Chip unbelievably recovered from the AIHA and we were on a two needle a day schedule for diabetes for a year and then suddenly AIHA reared its ugly head again (we thought we had beaten the beast) and we were told that the two issues - diabetes and AIHA didn't play well together and very, very sadly we had to put our baby down - Chip wasn't even 5 --- but then this beautiful girlie girl Izzy came into our lives and she is such a blessing. 3x the charm so to speak... we are her 3rd family and we will never let her go -- such a beautiful sweetheart! Umm that's as long as she doesn't jump the fence again after a squirrel we'll be just fine!!!
