Looking back on my Dream Day..........

I came into my mommy's life 15 years ago and she says it was the best day of her life. You see I was in a bad place and apparently no one wanted me until she stopped by. She heard this noise and asked where it was coming from and the gentleman said here I'll show you. Well needless to say it was me howling and howling because I wanted some love and attention. She asked to see me and I thought here is my chance so I put on the ole Bassett Hound charm. Alittle howl here alittle howl there and some biting on her shoe laces and before she knew it I had charmed her right out of that place. We stopped by the store and got me my very own fluffy bed, lots of toys, good food and of course all the treats my heart desired! On the way home I was so excited that I threw up all over mommy and the front seat of the car. Mommy wasn't mad though she just held me and told me everything would be okay. When we got home I got to investigate everything inside and out. Everytime I found something interesting I just sat and howled at it till mommy showed me it was okay and wasn't going to get me. We played alot and I got more hugs and kisses than I ever could imagine. That night when I went to bed I thought this is it my forever home and my forever family.
