Hi Everybody! I was adopted from the Louisville Weim Rescue last Feb 2008. I love my new home & life as I am treated like the Princess I truly am. I love all people, I love all dogs, I even like cats. Heck I just LOVE life! Mom says I am always happy. I am actually Dad's dog & love to be with him as much as possible. But I like my Mom almost as much when Dad isn't around. To catch you up on the past year, I am now in good weight (I was very, very thin when I got to the rescue). My family now consists of my Mom & Dad, me of course, an Aussie named Shelby & a hound dog (he was a stray & rescued too) named Louie. We live in the country so I get to go running in the fields & woods a couple of times a week & get to run in the horse pasture every night after the horses are brought in. Mom & Dad have horses so we go camping with the horses a lot in the summer. That was a new experience for me, but after a few times out I fell right into the swing of things. I am good & don't bark at horses that ride by, but me & my Aussie sister have to stay in our crates while Mom & Dad are out riding. It's not too bad though because our Mom always gives us a yummy new bone each time to keep us busy while they are out riding. I especially love the hot dogs & hamburgers while we are camping. Hmmmm...........
I am in my 2nd session of agility classes with my Aussie sister. I especially love to do the weave poles. I am quite fast, if I say so myself. Mom says I jump like a gazelle. :-) Dad doesnt' plan to compete me, but thought it would be fun for me to do. We have a lot of the agility stuff at home as well so we practice a lot at home. It sure wears a girl out as there is a lot of thinking & running involved. The running isn't the problem it's the thinking that makes me so sleepy. But my Dad thinks the direction is good for me. :-) Well, that brings you uptodate with me today.
