From the beginning...........

Thank You Again Dogster!

Wow! I just got Diary Dog of the Day! Again, how cool is that?? I am quite the celebrity now. I can't wait to tell my Aussie sister, Shelby. She will be soooo jealous.
I just came in from the barn. We have about 14" of snow on the ground. Mom has been double layering me with coates when we go to the barn because it is also very cold out there. I am so excited to go out in the morning that I sometimes find it hard to sit still while I get all my coates on! I do have to tell you that I have busted my behind a few times as I race around in the snow. There are some really slick spots out there! But I love running in the snow. But I am sure ready to come back in by the time Mom & Dad have all the barn chores done.
Tomorrow will be a bad day for me. My Mom has been off work most of the month of Dec with me. I will be really sad when both her & Dad go off to work in the morning & I am home alone all day. :-(

Thank You Dogster

First of all I want to thank the Dogster folks for selecting me as "dog of the day". Now that's pretty cool!
It has been quite some time since my Mom has updated my diary. She keeps my Aussie sister, Shelby, diary updated but seems to forget mine. Now, please don't think my Mom neglects me because I am the "princess" of the house & quite the spoiled pooch. Mom says I have more clothes than she does, but she is always bringing me home a new coat. I am very cold natured & always wear a coat when going outside, especially to the barn. I even have a fuzzy hat I have been known to wear to the barn when it is really cold. Oh, I love going to the barn because after Mom & Dad bring the horses in for the night, us dogs get to run & run & run in the horse pasture. Of course, I am the fastest of all.

Well, just to catch my doggie pals up on my activities, we had a great summer camping at the horse park with the horses. While Mom & Dad are out riding, Mom always gives me & Shelby a big yummy bone to keep us busy. We have to stay in the back of the camper trailer while they are gone, but we don't mind with our bones to chew on. I even have my own chair for camping. I think Mom might have posted a picture of me in it. I also attended one of the Weim Rescue events in Indianapolis, where I met a lot of other cool Weims. I especially liked one named Lucas. I was adopted from the Weim Rescue of Louisville about 5 yrs ago. I know I am adopted but that's ok, because I have a great life now & love my Mom & Dad. I also have spent a lot of time riding around with my Dad in the Ranger. I think Mom posted a picture of me doing that as well. No matter where I am or what I am doing, if I hear the Ranger start up, I am on my way to get in it. I can jump in the back with no problem at all!

Mom has promised to keep my diary more up-to-date & I will help remind her. Bark at you all later.........Wren

Unsure, as I am from the Louisville Weim Rescue, the Rescue thought I was a 2007 model.
