Arrival Story:
I was adopted from TVAMAL. It was official but my new mommy and daddy do/did not get to pick me up until Dec. 22nd. Since that is going to be my official adoption date or the date I go to my furever home that is my new birthday.

Bio:
I was picked up by animal control on the side of the road. I had a broken leg that the vet says was from a baseball bat or 4x4. There was a 4' peice of bone floating around detached. The animal control people took me to a vet and they put a pin in. The pin popped out of my skin and the animal control person called TVAMAL. They came and picked me up and took me to the vet. I was put on crate rest and the pin eventually tried to come out again so the vet took it out. Luckily I healed so I did not have to have the leg amputated or go through icky surgery. I lived with my foster mommy for a year and a half before I was adopted. I was named Lance Mackey after the Iditarod champion because like him I overcame a lot of obstacles in my life to get to where I am and I became stronger because of those.
