Two months passed since you slept
the eternal sleep;
It wasn't your time to go
but its mine now to weep.
How I wish I had cherish you more
before the angels swept you away;
But I know you’ve found peace
As I’ll find you again, someday.
I miss your innocent heart
& how you loved my food;
I miss your quirky ways..
I guess God must have missed you too.

On Saturday, April 29, 2006, I got mauled again at Echo Lake Dog Park. Unprovoked, unreasonable, unacceptable. Minding my own biz when a ball flew to my side, before I knew it, a dog (big brown mutt of some boxer/pitbull descent Im sure) attacked me. Luckily, his owner was nearby and grabbed the beast off of me. I got a bloody nose.
Its my favorite park but I dont think I'll be able to go back there anymore.
Too dangerous.
Not fair.
Just ain't right.

Two weeks ago I had a close call. While at Echo Lake park,
a big dog (for no reason) decided to maul me. I was strutting along
as usual, just got into park not long.. then, a big pit-bull-like or boxer-looking
big dog ran over to me and started growling. My ma was close by but it happened so fast that by the time my ma turned around to get me (she heard the growl) I was in the jaws of the beast! He picked me up by my neck and swung me around like a stuffed bear! My ma screamed so loud that she scared the beast to drop me and run away. I hit the ground, confused and frightened... before I even realized what happened, my ma picked me up..
I think she was even more shaken than me. I was quite stirred.
Luckily, with my dirty thick fur and harness, the beast did not pierce me
with his huge fangs. We quickly left the park, and, sadly, I havent gone back since. I think my ma is still shaken.
I spent the last week at my grandpa/ma because my parents went on
a vacation to St Louis MO and TN (Memphis/Nashville). I was born in
Missouri. Wondering if my birth parents are still there...
Anyway..
I must brave on and find me another park where smaller dogs may roam without the dangers that lie within the jaws of the beasts, lurking amongst the big dogs.

Its Wed. As usual, Im here at my grandma/pa's today in E. Brunswick..and their psycho maltese. dumped here while my ma goes to work..
it helps her feel less guilty for leaving me home by my lonesome self
for 13 hrs a day, about 3 Xs a week.
She tries to alternate my lonesome days with days w/ psycho.
Its ok, she makes it up to me by taking me to the dog park on the weekends,
I keep her there for about 2-3 hrs each time by pretending I haven't finished
sniffing every inch of the park yet... its my way of getting back to her
for leaving me a lonesome dove or w/ psycho.
I stole my aunt's baby's ball this past Sunday. Her name is Ina. She was visiting from Geneva Switzerland (I dont like her too much, she's afraid of me b/c I bark at her.. I bark at her b/c she's afraid of me.. so, its her fault. Anyway...) Ina packed her rubber ball in her little suitcase (she's 2.5 yrs old) and I stole it from her. When no one was looking, I took her ball from her open suitcase and hid it in the backyard. Now she's back in Geneva without her ball. Serves her right for being afraid of me. Ha, I showed her! Unfortunately, my theivery was discovered today.
Grandpa found the ball and took it in the house. I was shocked to sniff it out on a table! I demanded my ma to give me the ball. As soon as I got it,
I hid it in the backyard again.. but this time, I was more careful. I scoped out several hiding locations before finding the perfect, undectable spot. I dug a good hole and covered up the scene w/ leaves and dirt. No one can see it now. I just hope I remember where I buried it next time, if I ever feel like playing w/ it again. Im sure I will since Ive got super smelling powers.
I heard my ma telling grandma how I walked out of an art supply store one day w/ a paintbrush in my jaws... and how she turned me in to the store owners, informing them of my attempted theft. My ma can be such a traitor.
Anyway.. now, Im bored. Waiting for my ma to come get me.
I need a bath.. not that I want one. My fur is a bit matted.
Oh well..

Did the not so usual today-
visit park and petco on a weekday
with my psycho maltese step-sister.
Thank goodness she is only with us temporarily
while her ma/da is out of the country, without her.
The reason they couldnt take her is b/c she is psycho.
She will pierce kennel bag and scream like a monkey while in-flight,
causing havoc, as psycho's do.
This is not at all a reflection of her breed.
No, not at all.
It is a reflection of her owners, indeed.
I prefer to hang w/ my ditzy shit-zhu female cousin
even though we ignor each other most of the time;
but, she is as normal as most next of kin.
so, I love her, indeed.
