Best Tricks: target and 'give me paw' (her version of shake) Arrival Story: When Leena was a puppy she lived in a house with some serious issues. The man regularly beat his wife and when Leena would try to protect her as a pup, she became his new punching bag. When she was almost 2 years old, the man dumped her out of a moving pickup truck. She was brought to the county shelter where no one adopted her and she awaited euthanasia. The Humane society visited the county shelter to save adoptable animals about to be euthanized and they chose her. I was lucky enough to adopt her on her first day at the Humane society shelter.
