Arrival Story:
Kimberley decided that she wanted her own dog. She started with long list of breeds, did some research and finally narrowed it to a Shetland Sheepdog. In the summer of 2003 she decided to tell everyone that the only Christmas present she wanted was a sheltie. She insisted that everyone go together and get her this one awesome gift. We repeated to her that she was not ready, she couldn't take care of herself much less a puppy. In September I started looking for a breeder that would have puppies ready just before Christmas. I found a few that would but eventually I decided on a breeder in Upstate New York. However, one snowy Friday in early December I found a breeder with a litter in Virginia, a lot closer that NY. The litter would be 10 weeks at Christmas. I put a deposit on my favorite and on December 20th went to pick him up. Kimberley was shocked when I dropped him in her lap that afternoon. He was an instant hit with her and has been an absolutely awesome puppy!!!
