Arrival Story:
He was a small puppy when I first saw him. He was on a 10 foot chain in my neighbor's backyard. He had climbed over it and was still hooked by his chain. I sent my Daughter around the corner to get him. We let him stay in our yard until the people who owned him came home. Then they put up a 7 ft wooden privacy fence and that was the last time I could see him. During the winter I would take the people a bale of hay to put in his dog house. This went on for 3 yraes. During 1994 we had 3 hurricanes and he was on his chain for all of them :( The second storm knocked down his fence. During Charlie, I sent my Girls out to get him over the small chain link fence. We had him for over 15 days before the owners cam to get him. They put him right back on his chain. He started barking all the time. About a month later the people were fixing to take him to the pound because they were moving to Miami. My Husband and I asked if we could have him. He came to us with the name of Yellow and his own free set of heart worms.... lucky is was only in the Microfilaria stage and they were not bad.

Right now he has a king sized bed to sleep on, an air conditioned house and all The best dog food in the world he can eat. I have MS and took him to training classes for obedience. He had never been to one in his life before we got him. I only had to show him 1 time and he got it right. He has a very high pray/food drive. He picks up anything that hits the floor. He will bring us leaves, sticks, change, paper or anything for attention. He is so smart and is attached to my hip. I have never had a lab before and I can see why they are the most popular dogs in the world. We love him. He is so smart.

Canine Disaster Search Teams Deployed to Earthquake Stricken Haiti
My mom has been working hard to get the word out that Nutro has been chosen as the exclusive food to all National Disaster Search Dog Foundation.
Mom said that every time someone buys Nutro Natural Choice Dog Food, it allows them to do so without cost to the Firefighters/Foundation!
Here are some really good links to check out; tml

I love My Natural Choice and am glad to help them when Mom buys my food!
Mom also tells everyone that I would be a GREAT Search and Rescue dog, but she needs me to be her service dog, as she has M.S. Mom says I do a GREAT job for her!
I LOVE my Mom,
