Leave a bone for BANDIT In Loving Memory

Nicknames: Baby Boy

Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 25th 1986
Likes: Bandit loved playing ball, SNOW, kids, chewing anything he could get that wasn't his, snoozing on my chair, digging up the lawn

Pet-Peeves: Bandit hated the cat next door( who just sat on the other side of the fence where he knew Bandit couldn't get him),being locked in the kitchen, riding in the car, when the mail man didn't bring him cookies!

Favorite Toy: Bandit's favorite toy was any kind of ball and his tug-a-war rope

Favorite Food: macaronis, cheese, ice cream, bologna

Favorite Walk: Where ever there were people!

Best Tricks: Chasing his tail and giving you that sad puppy face to make you do whatever he wanted!

Arrival Story: I had grown up with with dogs my whole life. When I got married and we bought our first house, my biggest priority was getting a dog. I had always wanted a Lab and searched for the perfect puppy for months. One night I was visiting a friend I hadn't seen in a while. I knew her dog recently had puppies but never considered them an option. I wanted my Lab. Well, they looked cute all snuggled up in their bed, but I just sat and had my coffee. After a while, I felt tugging at my shoelaces. I looked down to see the most beautiful little set of brown eyes staring up at me. It was love at first sight !
The Lab idea went out the window, and Bandit was my new baby. I brought him home the next day.

Bio: Bandit was very special to me. Even though I had always had dogs who I loved as a child, Bandit was the first who was all mine. He was my first baby. He was loving and loyal. He loved everyone and always wanted to be where the action was. In 1991, at the age of 5, he developed a brain tumor and crossed The Rainbow Bridge. I still miss him terribly, 13 years later.

I made a Pup Pal a while back who also crossed the Rainbow Bridge. My Mom had no idea what the Rainbow Bridge was at the time. My Pal's Mom filled her in. "The Rainbow Bridge Story" proved her thoughts and feelings were true. Everyday I think of my family and still miss them terribly. But this is a good place. I am healthy and share much love and happiness with all my special friends here. I know my family misses me also. I can still feel their love and always will. We will be together again.
So here is "The Rainbow Bridge Story" from Petloss.com. I hope it brings some comfort to Families whose loved one has also crossed The Rainbow Bridge with me.
"THE RAINBOW BRIDGE STORY"
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
