JP was surrendered to the hospital as a 6-week old puppy. His previous owners weren't able to afford to treat him for parvovirus, and JP was on death's door when he came into the ER. I ended up adopting him, and he's been the world's best pit bull adoptee since then!

Bio:
JP's mom, Dr. Justine Lee, is an emergency critical care veterinary specialist and recently wrote "It's a Dog's Life... but It's Your Carpet" and "It's a Cat's World... You Just Live In It." These funny, humorous reference guides answer questions for the novice to the experienced pet owner. JP is the main featured character in the book!
