Leave a bone for ~ABIGAIL~ Puppy Mill Survivor Nicknames: Mrs. Wobbles, Abba daba doo Birthday: August 2nd 2003 Arrival Story: Abigail is a puppy mill survivor. She has spent the first 5 years or her life being breed over and over again until her body just gave out. The day we picked her up she was down in her back end and went straight from the rescues transport van that brought her to us to the vet where she stayed for the weekend. She was put on IV steroids just in time and the vet was able to get her walking again ....but she has a wobble and may always have it. She was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral disc disease). She is just now getting off of having to be totally crate rested. ....but now we have the whole rehabilitation process that is involved with these wonderful mill kids. These dog have had their spirits broken over years and years of mistreatment and that takes the most time to heal. Abigail is a sweet little girl and just wants to be loved but she just don't no how to yet. We have high hopes for all our mill babies The damage done during the years in the mill usually can be overcome, but it takes time, patience and dedication and we will give her as much as she needs....which will one day, we believe make her adoptable..... STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES
