Arrival Story: I had been trying to adopt a Peke from a shelter, but every one that I found online was adopted right before I called or emailed the shelter. I just couldn't catch up with any of them. That started me wondering if it just wasn't meant to be this time. I really wanted to adopt a dog, but I began wondering if I should consider other options. Then I saw an ad for puppies online. I called to investigate and it was a lady who just let her dogs have a couple of litters before spaying and neutering them. So I went to see what it was all about because I had this feeling that maybe this was meant to be. When I met the two puppies, Yang Xiao ran to me just like we had know each other forever. The lady who was selling the pups said that she had never seen a puppy take to anyone so fast. So there was no arguing...Yang Xiao made up her mind. She chose me. So I had to take her home. Maybe she is even a reincarnation of my little Suki Fu. Who knows? But even if she isn't, we have really bonded and I wouldn't trade little Yang Xiao for anything else in the world...No way. She is my precious little soul mate. Bio: Yang Xiao is Chinese for "Sun Dog."
