Arrival Story: We found Katie on petfinder, she was the first and last dog we went to meet. On the ride home, she climbed from the back seat into my lap and sat there all the way home. She was 7 months old, the sweetest, naughtiest puppy I've ever encountered. She's 6 now, and still full of beans!

Forums Motto: It's not easy being Katie **sigh**

When the 2 leggers got rid of the couch, Hal and I were worried. What was going on? Where would we sleep? Why didn't they throw out those boxes they stare at all the time instead?
With no couch, we were forced to cuddle on the same dogbed together! **shudder**
But then, a new package arrived. Lucky for them, I was here to help them put it together. It would have taken forever otherwise!
To my happy surprise, it was a couch. But it was a bigger, better couch that they were thoughtful enough to decorate with soft pillows and color coordinate with me.
I really think red is my color, don't you?!

My mom says they broke the mold when they made me. Then she always says something about them beating the heck out of the mold-maker - whatever that means...
I used to be very, very naughty - but I haven't wrecked a couch in years! I don't play with my food when I should be eating it, and I've learned to be quiet and sleep until at least 5 am!
The last truly naughty thing I did, hmm... Well, a few weeks ago I slipped out the door when our fence was down and ran through a bunch of yards like a crazy dog. My dad was calling me, but I would just run near him and then dart away - what a blast I had! You should have seen their faces!!!
But, when they turned and went into the house *without me* I got a little worried - it's not fun to be out by yourself! So, I did run in when the door was opened, it's true. I'm never outside without a leash - don't tell anyone - but I think I like it better that way (shhhh, it'll be our secret).
Today - I was good. I brought mom the shoe I was playing with, and I only jumped the baby-gate once or twice. But, tomorrow is another day!

Today, my suffering has lessened. My fence is back up, and better than ever!
Hooray!! I spent the weekend lounging in the sun, eating grass and getting Hal to chase me.
Best of all, I get to go potty alone again.
As it should be.
Hmmph!
