Arrival Story:
My mommy came to the Kingsport Animal Shelter on Valentine's Day with my Daddy. They went back and forth, looking at all different doggies for a long time. I knew they were mine the second I saw them, so I just waited patiently. All the other dogs were barking and trying to get their attention, but I sat very still and quiet at my cage door until they finally stopped at me. I can see how they kept looking over me, I was just this little dirty black puppy, and they couldn't see my pretty gray, white, and brownish markings yet. They stopped by my cage to have a discussion, and then both looked down at me, seeing me for the first time. I chose this time to calmly stand up on my back paws and put my nose through the door for some love. They took me into a private room and I showed them how smart and alert I was. Mommy said, "This is the one," (like I didn't already know that) and they took me home.

Bio:
We have a swimming pool that I love! I was scared of it at first, but Mommy and Daddy kept putting me in and telling me it was okay. One day, I realized my feet were webbed and I suddenly kicked into a nice smooth swimming stroke. I've been pool-addicted ever since. I also have a sister named Abby. She came to live with us about 5 months after I moved in. She's a shelter dog too. She is alot more laid back than me, and prefers petting to playing. Not me! I love to play and run. Frisbee is the best!
