Arrival Story:
Being that I am not able to have children, I decided that I should get a dog. I talked it over with my landlord and he allowed me to have a small dog. I immediately called my Dad and told him that I wanted to get a small dog could he help me find one. After a few days of watching the local newspaper, my Dad ran across an ad for Jack Russell Terriers, cheap and CKC registered. That weekend, we got in the car and drove out into the country. When we got there, the breeder, who is wheelchair bound, introduced me to his 12-year-old grandson and told him to take me to the kennels to look at the litter. Upon walking up to the kennels (looking back, I think it was puppy mill) I saw the most adorable puppies. I searched through the liter looking for the most active puppy. The first puppy I picked up was definitely the wild one in the bunch but for some reason I didn't feel a connection with him. I then caught a glimpse of another puppy kind of hiding in the corner. I picked him up and he immediately started to lick my face as to say, 'please take me,' I knew he was 'the one'. On our way home, I started to go through a list of names for him, nothing fit. I then thought of his name, Webster, which is the town where I got him from. I looked at his cute little puppy face and asked him if he liked the name Webster, he seemed to have responded with another lick to my cheek. So, Webster became his name and became my 'child'.

Bio:
The breeder claims that his JRT's are purebred. Webster is CKC registered but, as Webster was growing up you could see he definitely isn't 100% JRT, he's too big and when he gets to playing rough with me or his toys, you can see that he might have some Pit Bull in him. Regardless of what breed he is, he's my dog, my child, my companion and I wouldn't trade him for anything in this world.
