Arrival Story:
Mia was originally named Mai - owned by a couple since birth - they moved into a house where they could not have her. She was turned into the Golden Valley MN Shelter. She was so loveable she was picked up that very day. Unfortunately in her second home - she loved the family cat but the cat didn't want to share her home with Mia. Finally - I wanted a puppy all my life and saw Mia on the webpage - I ran out to meet her but could not find her at the kennel and went home sad. Stranegly - she was still on the website - so I returned once more the next day. Sure enough when I asked - I found out she was kept in her own kennel behnd the counter because she was too small to be with the rest of the dogs!
