Just the regular stuff - sit, stay, lay down, etc. She does look at you very intently when you talk to her, rocking her head back & forth with her ears perked as if she's understanding every last word.
Arrival Story:
I adopted Bailey from a family in Pittsburg, KS who had a litter so their adult grandson could have a dog to hunt over. I have had shorthairs all my life, and was so excited to get Bailey. She ran right up to me in the yard, but was also content to play by herself.
We lived in an apartment for the first year, with a big yard and field behind us. My sister got a lab a month later, and the "cousins" have a great time together. She's not much of a hunter, because she'd rather just run and run and run. So, we run fields together and play in the backyard a lot, and she thinks life is just perfect.
Bio:
Bailey loves bedtime. She hops up on the bed, rustles under the covers, and curls up under the comforter at the foot of the bed.
As a puppy, she had a fascination with my purse and wallet. She would lift cash out of my purse, and credit cards if she could get to them. One visa was never found - the credit card people got a good laugh out of "my dog ate my credit card."
She also loves it when I mow the back yard. She runs right along side me, and her white hair turns green!
