Arrival Story:
Well, a little bit about me! I am approximately. 7 yrs. old and was found wandering aimlessly by Animal Control in Virginia Beach. They saw I had no collar and looked like I was lost, so they picked me up and I am now staying wif a wonderful rescue group until they can find me a new home!! I went to the doggie doctor for a check up. My previous owner didn't take real good care of me cauz they found a whole bunch of my teef in real bad shape! "Root canal" the Doctor hollared! (BOL! BOL!) just kidding, but they did haf to take a whole bunch of my teef out cause of my owners neglect. Let me assure you though when it comes to "Chowing down", I'm ready, hungry and able!!!!! I don't let hafing a few less teef get in the way of filling my tummy!!!!! I must also tell you that I luf EVERYONE! I luf to make furfriends, even kitty's! yeppers! luf those kitties...I'll play wif them all day long. Making friends is special to me. I am always happy and ready to play with just about anyone! Tail wags and spins! you'll not have any problems wif me cause I am the bestest doggie in the world and want to be your bestest friend! The doggie doctor also gave me all my shots, I am also neutered, and you won't ever haf to worry about loosing me cauz I am microchipped too! So you see, I am all ready and packed wif my bones in my doggie bag to come lif with you. I have so much luf to give!!! I so want my very own Mommie and Daddy. Won't you please consider giving me a home?

Bio:
Oreo is a super sweet fella with lots of love and energy. He does get along with everybody and everyone. He's not kidding about the cats either! If you would like to open your heart and home to save this special guy, please contact me for more information. I am helping Rainbow Animal Rescue here in Norfolk find this beautiful dog a home. Because of the special nature of these dogs, and the fact that they've all been abused in some form or another, all applicants will be screened by them. We want them all to find their "Fur-ever" homes! Home visits and vet checks will be required. Rainbow Animal Rescue, Inc. is an all breed, canine rescue organization. They are a 501(C)(3), non-profit animal rescue group. They have no shelter of their own, but rely on fosters to house the animals until they can be adopted. The fosters give the animals a loving, home environment to prepare them for adoption. Please also visit them on pet finder. Rainbow Animal Rescue League is a Member of the Animal Welfare Coalition of Hampton Roads.
