Arrival Story:
Ricky has been adopted in Portland, OR from "Family Dogs, New Life" This is a great ending and a new beginning for this fabulous dog. He was found wandering the roads near Abita Springs, LA. In November of 2008, my husband and I went to ARNO to donate a bag of dog food.. and wound up meeting this beautiful boy. After weeks of waiting we brought him home with us... but it was not meant to be. Although he is a wonderful dog, he did not adapt to life with cats so he went back to ARNO. As heartbreaking as it is.. he has since been returned from yet another home because he was escaping from their yard frequently. In April 2009, ARNO sent him to a partner rescue in Portland, OR where he would be a more rare commodity.

Bio:
Even though Ricky (we called him Bunk) only spent a week in our home, We did come to love him. So I stayed in touch with the rescue to keep up with his fate.
