I watched him that night since i work the night shift and that week we looked for his owner. We also put an add in the paper, to no avail. So I took him home. Our neighbors daughter fell in love with him and knowing we were looking for a home for him asked if she could be his new mom. I said yes as long as she realized that Jake had some behavioral issues and she needed to help him with them. She agreed. Also if at any time she couldn't handle him she was to call me and let me take him back. Again she agreed. 3 months later she called crying, saying that Jake had bite her Landlord and he said Jake had to go or they all went. So back to me Jake came to his now forever home. With a lot of patience Jake has calmed down to an acceptable behavior with a big watchful eye when any strange men come to our home. On the leash he is a perfect gentleman, but at home very, very protective. We will always love our old man as we call him Bio: Well Jake is still learning and unfortunately with my mom living with me since her strokes he has been very protective of her.
