Arrival Story: My name is Gracie! I was retired from a biomedical research experiment which left me with just 1 kidney! Hey - I got to help some people with kidney transplant research, and now I get to find a forever home. :) How awesome is that?!
Bio: I am pretty shy and cautious - with just about everything! A home without small children would be best for me, but I am dog-friendly and cat-friendly so either of those would be OK! I am described as being "all puppy" which means that even though I am a year old, I still do a lot of puppy things like steal laundry, chew on things I shouldn't, and have a lot of energy! I am doing well with my cratetraining and housetraining, but I do not like my crate, so I howl when I am in there. Apartment or townhome dwellers could have complaints about that if I am left home alone crated during the day. Someone who is home with me all day might not have as many problems.
I am struggling with finding a food that I like and one that will keep weight on me. I am quite skinny! I will be staying in CBR-East for a while until I can gain some weight and a good food that I will consistently eat can be found!
