A day in the life of Max...

confused...

Dear Diary ~
Last night, I went to visit my friends; Bella, Jade, Norsca and Sean... I absolutely LOVE to see the girls. I'm the smallest, but the biggest (if you know what I mean!) I always burst thru the door with my mighty bark and they are always SO happy to see me! But diary, there's a lot of confusion in my mind right now... mommy and I haven't spent a lot of time at Mr. Sean's house lately. He hasn't been over my house in months either?! Then, out of the blue; mommy and he spent a lot of time crying and hugging last night. They've been thru this before, but this time I think it was for good. Mr. Sean loves me and my mommy, but is tired of waiting for us. I know this time of year is very stressful for my mommy; mentally, financially and emotionally... she is pooped. I know she really wants to have more in life, but it's difficult for her to take the chance. She is better at taking chances with the business and assisting with other peoples' happiness than with her own... we were just at Aunt Leslie's house talking about all of this this past weekend! (I love aunt leslie). Mommy tells me all the time that I am her world, and she spends a lot of time lying in bed just holding me... She tells me I have to live forever! You see, a lot of times mommy doesn't want to live, but I keep her here with me. See, she is MY world too... Ruff! Ruff! xoxo Max

Clean Teeth!

Dear Diary ~
On Friday I had to go to the vet to see Dr. Hirsh for my annual teeth cleaning... I was really scared and shivering but I let them take me for the day. Mommy hates having to put me under anesthesia because it's all too scarey. BUT, I survived beautifully and the procedure went well... they are really good to me at the vet. My daddy picked me up in STYLE! He arrived in that silly limo and took me to mommy's work... see, eventhough mommy and daddy aren't together anymore, he still likes to pick me up and take care of me and my grooming! I miss going to his work every morning and seeing everybody... Alicia and Mark gave me cookies every day! Laurie, Dawn, Cindy & Gene played with me every morning! Sometimes, Grandpa Jerry would bring Romeo and Murphy to work to play with too! I still remember everyone at daddy's work and am thankful for all they've done for me. All of their cookies and love are in my puppy dreams every night. Ruff, Ruff xoxo Maxie

Bath day!

Dear Diary ~
Today I awoke to my Mommy giving me a bath! I know I was a stink-pot, but now I'm clean and happy! My mom says I'm going to get my teeth cleaned tomorrow (oh, how miserable I was last year; the medicine made me have a poopy-butt!!). But, I love my mommy, and I love coming to work every day to show everybody how pretty I am! Grandma feeds me cookies because I'm really good at giving those puppy eyes! I do my tricks real fast just to show them I will work for food!! I miss Walter with UPS, and hope he comes by someday to see me again. I am thankful everyday that my mommy found me at the pet store and took me home. I've been spoiled rotten ever since! Ruff, Ruff, xoxo Maxie
