Arrival Story:
I work at an animal hospital as veterinary technician and one night Maki was brought in starved and half frozen. She was only 8 weeks old and her temperature wouldn't even register when she first arrived. The owners said that we could treat her and left for the night. The next day she was fine, glad to be warm and have a full belly! The people that brought her in never came back for her so I ended up keeping her!

Bio:
Maki is the best dog that I have ever had. I like to think of her as a 45 pound chihuahua because she loves her mama and her favorite place is under the blankets with me! She never leaves my side and listens very well. Her favorite thing to do is play tug of war or be a couch potato! She has helped me raise two kittens, our cat Fred who passed away this year and our newest edition Shirley who you can see in some of her pictures. She cleans them, stimulates them and plays with them. She loves cats!!
