Arrival Story:
Lacey was rescued from the streets of Detroit when she was a very young puppy - only a few weeks old - by Home Fur-Ever. I've always known I wanted a dog (2 or more even!) but my parents always said, "When you get your own house, then you can have your dog." 1.5 months after marrying my husband and moving into our own home I adopted Lacey. 4 days later we adopted her brother Zeus and they've been the BEST OF FRIENDS!

Bio:
Lacey is one of the best dogs I've ever been around. She is VERY well behaved and tries to keep her brother in line. :o) When he's not in the mood to play she'll continue to throw their toys in his face until he gets in the mood. Everyone who meets her or sees her picture comments on what a BEAUTIFUL coloring she has. She has the best brindle coloring I'VE ever seen. ;o) SHE IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! When she was a puppy she used to try to escape from the backyard. We had to lower ALL of our fences! Now she's too big to squeeze through the deck railings or under the fences but doesn't seem to mind not venturing out on her own. Lacey also loves playing with her cousins Abbie (Pictured in the Pup Pals area) and N'Kaya (Not yet pictured).
