So where was I? o.k. We were in the Hotel in Illinois. It was hard to understand this idea. I kept hearing people and doors thru out the night. At about 2:30am(middle of the night) someone was outside our door. They were laughing and it scared me.
Bark bark Bark... growl Bark. Warning warning!!!!
My mom got up to calm me down. The people were still talking and the door next to ours openned and closed.
In the morning Mom told me that I did O.K. for my first time in a hotel. Then Mom said to Dad that New Years Eve is not a good night to stay in a hotel with a dog.

We all had breakfast and loaded in the suburban.

It was a long ride just like the day before but everyone was starting to get excited and packing up their toys. I knew something was up. We rode up a hill then down a hill and up a hill then down a hill then up a hill and down again. Turned and stopped in a driveway. I saw people and cats and a yellow dog.
Yeah!!!! we got out of the suburban. Nice Dog, Nice Dog, sniff sniff. Hi people Hi,Hi, Hi, kitty kitty kitty, Hi Hi Hi sniff sniff.
Hey, no leash on me....RUN, RUN, RUN, come on dog show me around! Mommy
Mommy! There you Are. Run, Run, Sniff Sniff.

We stayed the night and I got to know my new friend. His name is Samson, like in the Bible. He is young and is learning German. I am old and don't have to learn German. I think it's for the new generation of Dogs. Oh, Samson is a Golden Retriever. I am going to have my mom ask his mom to join Dogster so he can be a Pup Pal of mine. I know he has some long distance friends and family that might join with him.

We are back home now and I miss him. I do like to play with my toy that I shared with him because it still smells like my Friend Samson. The Kittys at his house were o.k. but to shy to play with.

Bye For Now. Thanks for reading.

I have never rode in this suburban but it smelled like grandma and grandpa.
My family had been packing up and I thought we were going camping, BUT NO!
They loaded up it this vehicle and we rode until I couldn't hold it anymore.

After a potty stop we rode until another potty stop and McDonalds. But NO we were not camping and it was Cold and Dark out at this stop.
Again we moved on and the next stop my Mom and Dad got out without me. Then they came out of the building and didn't have any food. Boy oh boy dog! We
moved that suburban farther back in the parking lot and I got out and the whole family started getting bags and my bed out.
I got distracted at this point because of the great bunny rabbit trails I could smell.
Mom started to get to cold and in we went. Mom told Dad and the kids that this was Cassidy's(ME) first hotel room and we had to let her look around the room.
That was the begining of a LONG NIGHT.
I will tell you more next time. My Mommy is typing and I thinks she is getting confused interpeting my barks.

Christmas Eve 2008

Merry Christmas,

Last Night our power(electric )went out for the whole night. My Daddy put a heater in the Living room but I still slept upstairs on my bed next to Mommy's bed.
My Mommy got a job Part-time and seems very happy about it. I really don't understand because I thought her job was here at home, just like my job.

I have great news for all my Pup Pals. Daddy got me a new Lazer pointer toy. I love chasing that red dot all around the house. I also like that when the playtime is over My family will rub thier hands together and say ' ALL DONE!' I like that part because I know that the Lazer is put away. This way I am not still looking around for that red dot. I can save up my energy for the next playtime...maybe wrestling with my Boy again. :)

Hope everyone has a great Christ-mas.
