and we're not ready. We don't even have our cards to put in the mail fur our furiends. Every day we bark at the mail truck in joy hoping to see that box of cards; will they arrive today? The only good thing we knowed about is our pawresent cuz we seen the big boxes of Greenies yesterday. And, we finally got some odor free bully sticks cuz the pawrents don't like the smells of them others...they all good to us!
Yesterday Bella, Scooter, Jiffy and Rosie got groomed. At least they look spiffy fur Christmas, but they Christmas card shows 'em in they true what dad calls "scruffy" look. BOL!!
All the angel furs are pawtying up there with Cookie and the gang who speaks of the wonderful adventures through regular diary entries.
Many times mom thought about changing our fambly name here on Dogster, but we are keeping our name cuz it all started with Spike, Sheba and the gang in Lafayette. Mom thought of changing it after we moved, but can't cuz we is famous in Geoffrey Bain's "Just One More Day" book. We sent POP to his beloved Abby before she went to the bridge and there's almost two pages about Spike in the book. Abby went to the bridge approx. a month & a half after Spike. Our name remains cuz it includes all us furs here on the Earth and in the Heavens above.

We haven't barked collectively in a long time, but think it's time today with all that's going on. Rosie came to join us unexpectedly last month. Sheba, Spike and Miracle say they had paws in this by guiding her to live here.
The four of us on earth are not very happy campers today cuz some worker peeoples tore down about a fourth of the back fence and left it wide open. That means we can't run and play outside like we want to cuz mom says we'd probably want to go exploring beyond our properties. We've been in harnesses ALL day since them peeoples got here and mom takes us outside on leashes so we can't run too far. I bet the neighbors had good laughs to see her handling the four of us at once. We got crazy fur awhile then did pretty good. Good thing we live in a neighborhood that don't have traffic running through like the old hood or she said we'd probably be walked one at a time. BOL!!! Anyhoo, these peeoples will only finish up the gap they left so mom says we can run and play late this afternoon and up until bedtimes then another fourth of the fence will be down tomorrow fur them to do the same thing. Gee whiz...this are ridiculous!!
Jiffy and Rosie both are visiting the vet tomorrow morning. Rosie has to get check up before being scheduled fur spaying. Yikes, she says. Mom was only planning to take Rosie, but called the vet to see if Jiffy could come in a week early fur his yearly checkup cuz he is due on the 15th. Mom wanted to relieve dad of having to watch over three of us if she went with Rosie. And, since Jiffy is so attached to his new fursis mom said that would be good fur both of them to go together.
Mom says she gots to make some notes to take so not to furgets to asks important questions. We have an important question? Do we really have to go??!! BOL!! Aaaarrrooo!!
Bella and Scooter will keep dad in line tomorrow. BOL!!
We will be glad when the week is over and life gets back to some kind of normal if there is a normal around this house. We can't wait to get back to chasing each other all over the yard. This is more like prison around here having our doggie door blocked, being put in lock-down (confined to inside), being in harnesses all day, and having to be put on leashes like a chain gang fur when going outside. We'd better get something extra special for dinner tonight cuz this just ain't right!!!

Oh boy it was a HOT day, but that didn't stop mom from taking us (Bella, Scooter and Jiffy) to the groomer fur spiffing up. What did we do to deserve that? At least it's over, we're back home and happy to be running free again. We went to a new place much closer to home; only a couple miles. It's the same place where Bella & Scooter spent lots of time when they was younger before they came to live in their new furever home here. It's called the Happy Dog Hotel. BOL!!! BOL!!! We made a new furiend here on Dogster. His name is Ripley...how cool is that name? We gotta run over and send a pup pal request. Mom says he's a handsome guy with pretty colors.
Gotta go back outside and rub this grooming scent off again. It seems to stick to us. We want our own smells back! BOL!!
