My mom breeds poodles, and when Symone was just a few hours old we were at the emergency vet because we thought that the mom, Amber, still had a puppy. I got to hold her for the first time, like I have all the others, and something just clicked. From the time her eyes were open and she could move around she knew that I was her person. She picked me more than I picked her.

On Saturday July 12th, my mommy Elizabeth went with her best friend Loli to have Abraham, my uncle who was 14 years old and Loli's baby, put to sleep. Mommy was so sad and I tried my best to make her happy. Now I have a nephew named Elmer, I haven't met him face to face yet, but I can't wait! He is a 9 week old Jack Russel Poodle mix!
