Arrival Story:
Our new puppy is almost home! We were contacted (through my mother) by a friend at our local vet. This sweet little puppy (8 weeks old) was brought in for a skin rash. Once Red Mange was determined, her owners wanted to put her down. The vet and his super sweet staff couldnt bare to do it, so he and one of his staff members mother have teamed up to help this pup. Well, finding a home for this puppy I assume will be harder than most pups. Being as, Red Mange can be a life long ordeal. After much research, we are going to take the puppy! And i'm excited. We have to wait until treatments are over then shes comming home!
Bio:
I have two human boys (1 y/o and 7 y/o) both who are immunodeficient with skin problems. I figure who better than I, to help a puppy who is considered immunodeficient with skin problems. I do it all the time anyways!! Plus, my Tinky can sure use a friend. Luckily for us, we are getting this pup while my toddler is still little. Then they can grow up together so they'll play well together. Everyone warned us about getting a chihuahua mix with a 2 year old.. and they are best friends..... she licks his toes.. they are so gross in love. haha.
