My Tail of Devotion for Willow

Little Willow--My dog. . .oh, God, I don't even know where to begin. I don't think there are words to express how I feel about you, what I feel for you and how much you've changed my life.

I thank God everyday for you and for all you've shown me about myself and life. You don't really realize it, but you have. So, thanks for your unconditional love, your trust in me, your smile, your purple kisses, greetings at the door, your love of simple things, for not knowing what money is and all the other crazy things in life.

And, thanks for being there when I look down as I type this note to you. The gifts you give to me are endless. And, seeing you next to me is just another example of one of them.

I love you and I will do all I can to repay you for everything I've mentioned and more. So, please enjoy a wonderful long, healthy life here with me. I promise to do the best possible thing for you always.

And, I hope that when my life here ends you will be waiting for me. (I can see you so clearly guarding heaven's gate, a job you were made for.)

Then I will know my reward, my paradise. . .
