Arrival Story:
I wanted a get a terrier so I started researching westies and read that they are the most friendly terriers. Plus they were so cute! So one night my husband and I went to a pet store just looking and I picked him up for a few minutes carrying him around. My husband told me to put him back to look at other puppies so I finally did. He ended up jumping up on the side on the crib thing and was whinning. I had to have him! So I saved him from a pet store. :) Luckly they had just gotten him and his brother in so he wasn't there long before I snatched him up! I didn't know much about puppy mills back then but I remember on his paperwork saying they were not from puppymills with a big no sign through it. I'm sure they were now.
Bio:
Murphy has been the best dog I've ever had. He listens so well and is very loving and friendly. He gets along with all the westie orphans we bring in. He just doesn't like them around his food bowl...water bowl is fine though. His favorite thing is his mommy. He loves to lay on the couch with me at night and sleeps and sleeps. He also grunts a lot...we say it's his way of talking. He is too cute!

When I got you I loved you. As you grew I loved you even more. You have always been the sweetest boy and this is why you have been my favorite. I love the way you perk up your ears, the way you rub underneath me feeling good, the way you curl up with us in bed, the emotion you show, the pet peeves you have, how you love to sun yourself until you are hot and panting, your grunting, the love you give our family and the small kisses you give. You are my doggie soul mate and been there for me all these years. If it's your time to go, I will let you go. May God take you in his arms and comfort you until mommy is with you in heaven one day. I love you my sweet sweet Murphy.

I think it was love at first sight! I remember when you were a pup and I picked you up instead of your brother. If I would put you down you would cry so mommy knew you needed me. I love the way you look at me as you can understand what I'm saying. I love how you follow me to the dryer so you can lay on the hot clothes. I love how you skip back in to the house when mommy calls you. I love your little carrot tail and when it wags. I love it when you come curl up with me on the couch or in bed. I love how you talk to mommy (even if you are grunting at me b/c you have to come inside). I love the smell behind your ears. Mommy couldn't imagine life without you. You are my heart!

I know it's been a while since I've been able to do any dairy entries. We have been sooo busy! Well mommy has been very busy. She has started doing westie rescue back in June so we have had 23 rescues! I have made a lot of friends! I now have a new westie sister. She is 3 yrs old and keeps me very active. Mommy thinks it's good for me since I got a little lazy. But I love playing with her. She loves to rub her butt in to me to tell me she wants to play and then we get rough and tough! Two westies large and in charge! Westies Rule!!! Happy Holidays!
