The other week I was thinking...and then it left me. So I figured that I had better go and myself useful around the house. Maybe pick up a sock or a shoe and put it somewhere else. Maybe grab the toilet paper roll and tear it apart. That was really fun. I haven't been able to do that one since then, but it was really fun. The Big Man as really mad. He gets all fussy about me and tissue paper. After I did that naughty-ness I tried to be productive by sitting in the window and howling at strangers who walked by. The little lady and the Big Man are working hard to get me to stop this. But sometimes when I sleep, I don't know what I'm dreaming about, but I wake up howling and barking and getting myself all worked up for I don't know what because when we all run to the window, we don't see anyone or anything. Maybe just rain drops because it has been doing nothing but rain for the entire month of March. I can't wait for sunny days. Well, let me sit here, on the couch, and wait for Doodles to pick me up for a wet and muddy day at the park. A dog has got to do what a dog has got to do.

I've been remiss in writing. Sorry. I'm almost two and I have a lot of things that I need to keep up with at my house. So now that I'm not confined to the crate any more, I don't have as much time to jot down my thoughts.
This past Sunday I went to the park. It wasn't a dog park, it was a kid park. But no one really told me that. No worries. Some little kid was having his birthday party and I helped myself to some chocolate cake left by the big bouncer. Dee-Lish. The Big Man wasn't too concerned so I just kept on playing. The only bad side effect of the cake might have been the next morning when I was stretching on the bed. I accidently fell off. It was pretty embarassing. But my butt started to itch so I wanted to get down and give it a scratch. Instead, I fell off the bed.
Now that my people don't keep me in my crate anymore I'm having a lot more fun. They let me hang out downstairs. They put a fence up, but last week I figured out how to move the fence. So every day I've broken free of downstairs. I'm sooooo smart. Whoever says that chocolate cake makes a dog dumb...I beg to differ. Maybe I'm some kind of medical miracle. I should check in with my vet to see if this is the case.
The little lady is all concerned about my teeth. I don't let them brush my teeth, but there is some plaque and tarter on them. So the little lady has been making attempts at getting into my mouth. But the only thing that I let into my mouth is my kibble, carrots, and any pork product.
I hear Doodles downstairs. I guess that I'd better get down there so that I can see my friends at the park.

It has been a while since I've had a chance to jot a note in my dog log, but I finally have a moment to myself. It has been busy here in San Francisco. Lots of playing, and peeing, and pooping. I've turned one. You can see the show that my Mom made for me. http://photoshow.comcast.net/watch/Hw8ru4Ih
And I learned how to ride in the car. I've gotten pretty good with the Poop and the Pee. I sometimes go on a hungry strike to prove a point. But for the most part, I love my life. It is pretty darn fun. Right now I'm playing with my Go-Rilla and listening to the trashman collecting the garbage. Ohhhh...the smells.
Well, off to bed so that I can rest up for Doodles.
