Arrival Story: Casey is a great pit bull. She's about 7 years old and anyone would be lucky to own this girl. Casey was given to us when her family could no longer care for her. Casey is great with kids. She is a smart, laid back girl. If you want a water dog, someone to hang out with in the sprinkler or the lake, Casey is perfect. Mature, friendly, smart, tolerant, loves food, easy going....just wants a nice home with a fenced in yard to grow old in. Casey is completely potty trained.
Bio: More info on Casey at Town and Country Humane Society in Papillion, Nebraska to come!! Town and Country Humane Society is the only no-kill shelter in the Omaha metro area. The shelter is completely volunteer-run and donation-driven.

My spokeshoomans and some friends raised enough money wrapping gifts that they were able to buy us 315 pounds of good dog food! Of course, they had to deliver it, and my guy spokehooman made a trip out to Town and Country.
No visit out here is complete for him without visiting little old me, so he took me for a walk. He asked me to sit and I tried, but my butt bounced right back up! That ground was cold!!
Town and Country Humane Society also serves as a sanctuary for some farm animals, including pigs. My guy spokeshooman thought that since I grunt and snort a lot I might be able to converse with two pigs that live here. I looked curiously at them, then one said, OINK!" I ran behind my hooman friend then timidly peeked out from between his legs. "OINK!!" said the pig again! I didn't understand what he was trying to tell me, and I wasn't about to wait around to decipher his message! I had to get out of there!
