A Whole New World

I had a big scare

Me and my brother Finn got our teeth cleaning done this past week. I did real good and got a good report. But Finn did not. He had teeth pulled out. I also had to get something removed from above my eye. They keep calling it a tumor. I dont have it anymore and my vet man told mummy it would be okay. it was be nine. mummy said it is benign but it sounds like be nine to me. I am not nine I am only three, but i will be four on the 23rd. Maybe mummy is confused?

Anyway, the vet man had to keep us all day because I require special attention as I always feel poorly and they wanted to make sure I was alright.

I was so glad to see mummy, but then when we got home something was wrong. I ate my dinner and it was so good but then i was crying as i hurt so bad. I could hardly move or get up and stand. I heard mummy talking to me but i was just so scared. i heard her call the vetman (his name is dr. jory, that is his first name but i know he has a last name, but everyone calls him dr. jory). Dr Jory told her that it sounded like i was having a reaction to the pain medicine as it was wearing off. I could not stand to be touched. Mummy carried up to the bed and i cried the whole way. laying down even hurt. that last from monday to early wednesday morning. i saw dr jory again on wednesday afternoon and by then i was all fine. dr jory told mummy that i can never again have certain pain meds called opiates. well you know i do not want them. they are fine when they are working, but when they wear off they make me hurt and i cannot stand or walk either. i was scared and so was mummy. but i am okay now because alot of nice people and furs prayed for me and i have a real good vet man and mummy.

i hope that i get something good for my birthday too. i know finn (dont call him toothless, he gets mad), is already all excited about his birthday on the 21st (he will be four too) but he dont know that he will be seeing dr jory on his birthday to get his mouth checked and i get my toomor stitches out.

Today I am Three!!

Oh Diary,

Guess what, I am three years old today. Wow. I am no longer a little boy, but a grown up. I even asked my girl Fergie to be mine this Valentine Day and she said yes and wears my diamond heart I gave her.

And today is Fergie's birthday too. That makes my birthday extra special diary.

Mummy sang Happy Birthday to me this morning while we were still in bed and I was so happy, my tail wagged the whole time. I think Finn thought it was for him again, but nope, it was FOR ME!

Then Mummy made me a carrot and z/d brekkie and I got a special cookie. She whispered to me that I get a special cake tonight that I can actually eat and will not make me sick! I am just drooling thinking about it diary. And then mummy will take pictures and "post" them. Dont know what that means but it must be a good thing.

Oh diary, daddy is not home this week but I hope he calls tonight and talks to me, I want to tell him about this special day! Gran's cavaliers, Cassie Girl and Winston AND Gran are coming over today too. Just for me. Finn did not have guests on his birthday! Well, mummy says that they are coming over to get bathed, but it is just as good.

Oh and Diary, maybe me and Finn will not get yelled at today if we go "cattin'". After all, it is my favorite sport and it is my birthday!

Diary, I am just so very lucky to have found my furever home and love my mummy and dads (and Finn) to bits!!
