A Whole New World

whew!

I am so happy that my brother, finn is better. his tumor was benign. but his heart got infected with bacteria and now he got a murmur. so i am sad about that but glad he is better and barking at me.

and diary, a tooth fell out of my mouth on sunday night. i dont know why. i just had my teeth cleeaned in March and hope it is not bad.

Keeping our teeth clean

Me and my brother Finn had 'dentals' done about three weeks ago. I don't doing that one bit. But at least my brother is with me when I am at Dr. Jory's doing that. This year was different though. I did not get really really sick like last year. Mummy said that I was watched really good and I got something called a nerve block instead of whatever made me sick last year.

I thought I did real good but I had to have two teefies removed, diary. even with brushing and rinsing. the one was the one that made my breath smell bad even for my liking. it was cracked in half and starting to decay. The doctor thinks I chewed on something hard and broke it. Maybe it was that hard nylabone I like...and then I had to have my one front upper toof taken out because it was a little bit loose. Dr. Jory looked down my throat too but I did not know that. He says my stomatitis in my throat is looking good. that made mummy happy and me too.

and then diary, guess what..daddy and mummy picked me and finny up that night. i was not even hurting like last time and i got home and wanted my dinner pronto. i was happy to be home. finny, on the other hand was not feeling so good. mummy said he was wonky. i knew he did not feel well because he did not want his dinner. how could ANYONE turn a meal down? well, he had to have one tooth removed because he has no gumline or something like that and his gums dont hold his back toofies that well. but both of us had good teeth with our brushing. that is what the doctor said. we had no tartar hardly. just teeth that are falling out. finn would say, what up with that. but i am going to try harder than ever to have a good report next year diary. teeth are very importante for us cavaliers.

oh and diary, finny was much better the next morning. he ate and barked. so i knew everything was good.

I am FIVE today!

Yappy Woofday to me! Oh I am so happy I am now five, just like my big "little" brother, Finn! Mummy and daddy sang to me this morning too. And all the wet from the sky made our outback the door all wet and icky on my fur, so we got to go on a special walk this morning, all of us including finn and will and mummy and dads and me! I was so happy and proud that I was five. Dads said i had a bounce in my step.

I got a bath yesterday and so did finn so we look real nice for my birthday. i dont get nothing special like finn did for brekkie because i have to watch what i eat or i get real sick and then i have to go see dr. jory and get sticked and poked. plus my mouth gets real sore if i eat something that i am not supposed to. i wish i could have a special egg for my brekkie because i used to love specials. now i cannot have. so i just get my veggies and rabbit.

but we had a special birthday pawty today. it was for both me and finn! special cakes that i could even eat, made special for my needs with no eggs, flour, milk, yogurt...all the good things but it was still good anyway. you know diary i just love food.

well, diary, finn did not like the joint birthday pawty. his woofday was thursday and mine is today and for the first time we did not have separate pawty's. i thought it was great. i love to share my special times with my big brother even if he thinks i am a lard butt. we got lots of stuffed toys, i got a new special nylabone the kind i love and i got a toy that smart dogs use to dig treats out. mummy puts oliver bentley crumbles in a section and i have to figure it out. I will figure it out diary, i promise. and finn, he got a starter agility set. he cant use it now, because it is all icky outside but i hope he shares with me cuz i will share with him.

I LOVE birthday's Diary. OH and guess what...my girlfuriend, Fergie, she lives in a house called Florida and sometimes she comes to visit me and finn with her pawrents and brother. Well, today is my Fergie's woofday too! Yappy Woofday to my Fergie girl!
