Skye really liked to be in his crate when we first brought him home. Now, he OWNS the "big bed" with his brother Finn! He loves to sleep with his mum and dad!
Can't think of anything that annoys Skye right now. He is way to shy and timid to have pet peeves!!
Skye like to chew on hard toys vs. soft toys. He hasn't shown to taking a liking to any one toy except nylabones and bully sticks! But since he can no longer have bullies, he chews on a textured nylabone and LUVS his squeaky kong tennis ball!
He used to eat kibble and chicken breast. HE LOVED his daily after dinner cookie and his Saturday special egg! But now, he was diagnoised with eosinophilic granuloma. due to this, he is on a strict raw rabbit and veg diet & his overall health is good!
Skye likes to follow Finn around the yard and he loves playing with other dogs at Waggy World!!
Tricks??? You've got to be kidding me. We are lucky he knows his name! But he has learned sit, down (for lay down), drop it, leave it, come here. Geez, he does know alot!
Skye came to us from Brookhaven Cavaliers, the same breeders as Finn's. My mum's 14 year old sheltie, KC died and she was devastated so we took her to Brookhaven where Paula and Brenda offered up 3 cavaliers for my mum. She picked a half brother to Finn and there was Shy Skye. He was a 9 month old reserved shy boy with no forever home and not show quality. Paula wanted to place him in a home that would show him love and work with him and was hoping we would be interested. YES!! We took this cutie home with us and although we are still getting to know each other, I hope shy Skye will open up and flourish in his forever home with his forever "brother", Finn. Each day, he takes little steps of progress!! But he immediately won our hearts!! Skye is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen and therapy dog with Therapy Dogs, Inc. Skye is a titled therapy dog with CKCSC USA holding the Therapy Dog Companion title (C-TC) for completing 40 hours of therapy service. He is also an AKC titled therapy dog (THD) for completing 50 therapy visits.
Skye's father is CKCSC, USA and AKC CH Brookhaven Dream Lover a/k/a Perry. Skye's AKC name is Brookhaven Dream Time. Skye's dad, Perry, received one of the highest honors (ROM) from the CKCSC USA in October 2010 at the CKCSC National.
I'm a shy kind of guy!!

i am happy it is a good holiday. one that is full of food. i cant eat any of it but some veggies but i like it when the house smells like food and mummy is in the kitchen and i stay there to watch her and make sure nothing falls off the counter.
i like the cool weather we have today too. its always hot and warm down where i live and the cold mornings in the back yard are fun for me and my brother finn.
i want to say i am thankful for
finn. i love my brother. he is my best buddy. i am always following him and love to play with him. sometimes when willy is over finn and willy play and i am left out but i know that my brother loves me.
my pawrents. i love them so much it hurts. they must of loved me so much because they picked me when no one else did. and took me home where i was reunited with finn. and never stopped trying to figure out why i was always not feeling well.
dr jory. he made me feel better again. he is my internist. i love him.
my raw rabbit and veggies. mummy makes sure i get the best food and the best rabbit and home cooked veggies. its yummy.
my health. i am not unhealthy, just not healthy. but you couldnt tell by looking at me. and i know some cavalier furiends that suffer bad from sm and cm and they are hurting. so i am lucky it is only my stomatitis.
and finally, my yellow tennis squeaky ball. i play with it when mummy gives it to me and its supervised but i love to shake it and squeak it.
i hope everyone will have a happy thanksgiving and remember to give thanks for something today.

Me and my brother Finn had 'dentals' done about three weeks ago. I don't doing that one bit. But at least my brother is with me when I am at Dr. Jory's doing that. This year was different though. I did not get really really sick like last year. Mummy said that I was watched really good and I got something called a nerve block instead of whatever made me sick last year.
I thought I did real good but I had to have two teefies removed, diary. even with brushing and rinsing. the one was the one that made my breath smell bad even for my liking. it was cracked in half and starting to decay. The doctor thinks I chewed on something hard and broke it. Maybe it was that hard nylabone I like...and then I had to have my one front upper toof taken out because it was a little bit loose. Dr. Jory looked down my throat too but I did not know that. He says my stomatitis in my throat is looking good. that made mummy happy and me too.
and then diary, guess what..daddy and mummy picked me and finny up that night. i was not even hurting like last time and i got home and wanted my dinner pronto. i was happy to be home. finny, on the other hand was not feeling so good. mummy said he was wonky. i knew he did not feel well because he did not want his dinner. how could ANYONE turn a meal down? well, he had to have one tooth removed because he has no gumline or something like that and his gums dont hold his back toofies that well. but both of us had good teeth with our brushing. that is what the doctor said. we had no tartar hardly. just teeth that are falling out. finn would say, what up with that. but i am going to try harder than ever to have a good report next year diary. teeth are very importante for us cavaliers.
oh and diary, finny was much better the next morning. he ate and barked. so i knew everything was good.
